VNC Bot
From AgBot Rev6
Remote controlled bot
If you want to manage your bot when you can not be at home (for example because you have to go to school or to work),
then follow this instruction guide.
All you need:
1.) a VNC server
2.) a VNC client
3.) internet
I think the best way if you use a tight and pretty VNC what does not eat the half of your resources.
The server/client what I found is TightVNC. It's free, good, fast, and with this I can do everything what I wish.
I will use this in this guide.
Downloadable from here: http://www.tightvnc.com
Install to the default folder.
You can start the server with the WinVNC.exe.
The default config is good, but I advise do some changes.

On the "Server" tab:
1.) The "Primary password:" means the password to be a remote-admin. With this you can install, remove, run, etc.
2.) "View-only password:" means the password what if you use then you can just check the pc, can not install, remove, etc.
3.) If you want to manage your server without so big lag, then remove the wallpaper of your pc.

On the "Administration" tab:
4.) Check in the box of "Disable empty password", if not, you can be hacked easily.
5.) Check out the box of "Enable built-in HTTP server" if you don't want to connect to your pc with internet-browser.
It only can be secured if you use SSL.
Press "OK", with this you save your setups.
Now the server running.
If you have router or firewall, then you need to make a portforwarding on port 5900 (this is the default VNC port).
Normally you can't connect to your pc, bcuz the router doesn't know to what pc you want to connect when you type your external IP.
Check this site and read the guides to know how you can do the portforwarding: http://portforward.com
If you did, then you need your external IP-address. The easiest way to check this site: http://www.whatismyip.com
Write to paper, keep in mind that IP.
When you installed the VNC, you installed the client also. The name of that: vncviewer.exe
Copy that to your USB-key, send that to yourself via e-mail.
In school or at work you need to start that file.
Start that.

6.) Here you need to type your external IP-address.
7.) It depend on your internet-bandwidth. If you have 5 mbit/s or less, then use the "low-bandwidth".
If you have 5-10 mbit/s, use "Default". Above that, use the "high-speed network".

8.) Choose the "Dot cursor" to get better performance.
9.) Here you can take a choose about you want log the connection and if yes, where you want to make the log-file.
You are ready to use.
Click on "ok" to save your setups and click on "Connect".
Enjoy the remote controll ^^
